Casey is a friendly and conscientious lawyer with extensive experience in litigation. Casey has a client focused approach to litigation and dispute resolution. She understands that the legal dispute resolution processes can be daunting and will take the time to help her clients through it and protect her clients’ interests.
Casey began her career focussed in compulsory land acquisition acting on behalf of both acquiring authorities and claimants.
Since 2013 Casey has practiced in commercial litigation and dispute resolution primarily. Casey also has extensive experience in helping clients resolve their disputes via mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution methods. She helped many clients negotiate agreements without the need to progress to court.
Casey has extensive litigation and drafting experience and has instructed in a range of complex matters in VCAT, the Magistrates Court, the Victorian Supreme Court, the Federal Court and the High Court of Australia. Casey has personally appeared in Applications before the Magistrates’, Supreme and Federal Courts.
Casey completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at Monash University in 2005 and her Juris Doctor at Bond University in 2009. Casey returned to Melbourne to undertake her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law and was admitted to practice in 2010.
Outside of the law Casey spends her time wrangling her twin toddlers, Freddie and Leo.
