Philip is a Wills and Estates lawyer and leads the Wills and Estates practice group at PCL Lawyers. He advises clients across a wide range of complex estate planning matters, the administration of deceased estates and estate disputes and litigation. Philip prides himself on providing clients with a practical, cost-effective and straightforward solution to their estate planning.

In addition to Wills and estates Phil has strong experience also in Commercial Law, Family Law and Litigation.

Wills & Estates is a very niche area of law which is easily overlooked by other professionals. Philip has an eye for identifying certain areas of risk for clients in the management of their estate planning which can have the effect of saving tens of thousands of dollars in an estate dispute down the road.

Philip advises clients in the following areas:

• drafting of Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Medical Treatment Decision Makers;
• drafting testamentary trust Wills;
• providing estate planning advice for clients with complex business and asset structures;
• providing advice and assistance to executor(s) of deceased estates;
• providing advice and assistance to beneficiaries of a deceased estate; and
• acting on behalf of clients in Family Provision Claims made against a deceased estate in the Supreme Court of Victoria.

Philip graduated from La Trobe University with honours in 2016 and was admitted as an Australian Legal Practitioner in 2017. Since graduating Phil has acquired experience working in law firms in Victoria with a focus on
Wills & Estates and estate litigation and other areas of law.

Philip is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria.
