Clementina Maione Appointed First Female President of Radio Italiana 531

PCL Lawyers proudly congratulates our Family Law Partner, Clementina Maione, on her appointment as the first female President of Radio Italiana 531—a milestone moment for the organisation.

At the recent AGM of Radio Televisione Italiana SA Inc., Clementina was elected to lead the Committee, marking the first time in the station’s 50-year history that a woman has held the presidency.

Clementina has long been an active and respected member of Adelaide’s Italian community. She has served as the Legal Adviser to Radio Italiana 531 for 19 years and as a Committee Member last year, contributing her legal expertise, strategic insight, and deep community spirit to the organisation. Her appointment is a fitting recognition of her commitment to preserving and promoting Italian culture and connection in Australia.

“I am emotional and grateful that the Committee has entrusted me with this role of President. It truly is an honour,” Clementina shared. “The radio station holds a very dear place in the heart of many people with Italian heritage not only here in Australia but globally. I look forward to working in conjunction with our hardworking staff, outstanding Committee Members, and Volunteers to keep the Italian community connected.”

“My parents came to Australia in search of opportunity, and I’ve always felt a strong responsibility to give back to the community that supported them,” Clementina said. “Radio Italiana 531 has kept our culture and traditions alive and the community connected.”
