Grazia is an Associate in our Commercial Litigation team. She has broad litigation and dispute resolution experience favouring advocacy, but focuses her practice in employment law and workplace relations. She has represented clients across employment law and commercial law matters across all Australia.
Grazia’s workplace relations and employment law experience extends to employment disputes representing employers and employees interchangeably and advisory work including contracting, post-employment restraints, terminations, human resource strategy, award classification and remuneration and bonus incentives.
With a background in human resources and business management for large hospitality groups, Grazia has developed relationships with key retail and hospitality groups across Melbourne and Sydney.
Grazia holds a Masters of Laws in Workplace and Employment Law and Monash University. Grazia’s thesis is focused on the the impacts of the gig economy and it has impacted the Australian work force and imposes on the legislative definition of a “employee”. Grazia argues that the gig economy has changed the basic functions of Australian Labour Law and reform must follow.
With a passion for academia and advocacy, Grazia shares her love for advocacy and litigation by tutoring in criminal and evidence law at University level.
