Scott is an Associate in the Commercial Litigation team at PCL Lawyers. He advises clients across a wide range of commercial, contractual, and regulatory matters, and maintains a broad generalist practice alongside his commercial and dispute resolution expertise.

Scott’s legal work is informed by more than a decade of experience in domestic and international manufacturing, procurement, commercial operations, and dispute resolution, including import and export across complex supply chains and engagement with various government regulatory regimes. He has supported major corporations, all levels of government, leading not-for-profit organisations, national sporting associations, and private businesses. This commercial experience enables him to deliver clear, pragmatic legal advice that reflects both legal requirements and commercial realities.

He advises on a broad range of commercial and corporate matters, including:

• Commercial transactions and disputes: contract drafting and enforcement, business structures, franchise agreements, commercial and retail leasing, procurement and service agreements, and settlement documentation, loss of opportunity or loss of chance;
• Regulatory and consumer law: Australian Consumer Law disputes, product liability, and insurance law;
• Technology, privacy and data: privacy and data governance, cybersecurity incidents, data breaches, and technology-related disputes;
• Employment and workplace matters: employment law, confidentiality deeds, and workplace-related claims;
• Equity and finance: equity and trusts, debt recovery, banking, credit & loan disputes;

In addition to commercial litigation and dispute resolution, Scott also advises on:

• Intellectual property disputes: including licensing arrangements, branding issues, and IP-related claims;
• General practice areas: defamation, wills and estates, education law, mental health law, property and strata disputes, professional and medical negligence, criminal law, cyber fraud, credit card fraud, and other general legal matters.
