Thomas Cunningham
Tom is an Associate in the disputes and litigation practice group at PCL Lawyers.
With a broad practice in general commercial litigation, Tom has represented corporations, organisations and individual clients in industries such as finance, insolvency, construction, commercial and retail leasing and owners corporations.
Having a background in business development, Tom combines his legal expertise with an approachable manner to ensure his clients feel heard, whilst also providing clear and concise practical and strategic advice.
Tom prides himself on being a fierce advocate for his clients and has appeared as solicitor advocate in mediations, as well as all Victorian Courts and Tribunals, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and the Federal Court of Australia.
Prior to his career in the law, Tom balanced a Football career with the Box Hill Hawks in the Victorian Football League with his studies at Deakin University, where he completed a combined degree of a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor or Arts (Majoring in History and Psychology).
In 2018, he completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the Leo Cussen Institute of Law, was admitted to the High Court of Australia in 2019, is a Member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Law Society of Victoria.
