Legal Scholarship 2022

PCL Lawyers is committed to helping students to grow and achieve success in their legal career.

A part of our values is also being pragmatic. Helping our clients who are predominantly small and medium sized businesses (SME) achieve their outcomes. We help our SME clients achieve the best outcomes not only just through a purist legal lens, but by considering their commercial considerations and ramifications.

Together with both ambitions in mind we are seeking to financially assist students who have an interest in working with SMEs whether it is commercial, property, litigation, employment or building and construction.

Successful lawyers who practise in this area have a “commercial understanding”. This is understanding commercial negotiations and pressures business owners face. We hope to encourage students to consider a career in helping SME clients. It is an exciting and challenging “real world” area of law.

We are offering a scholarship to students currently studying a Bachelor of Laws at University in their final or penultimate year.

We are offering two Law Students, with a WAM of 70 or more, a grant of $5,000 to assist them through the final stage of their degree. One grant will be prioritised for a Victorian Student.
