Mediation can produce good outcomes.
For some kinds of leases, such as Retail Leases, mediation is a compulsory step in the dispute resolution process before applying to NCAT or a court. We have represented numerous clients in their lease mediations. Mediation is a cost effective way of coming to a mutually agreed outcome.
